The city of La Porte, TX is auctioning off surplus items, the auction runs through Aug. 11.
LA PORTE, TX — Want a 2002 John Deere tractor? A 2010 Crown Victoria with 100,000 miles on it? A DVD/VHS player for $1? No, it isn't the world's strangest garage sale. It's the city of La Porte's annual municipal auction.
This year the city is selling off everything from a broken drill press to a 2,000-gallon water tank. There are even two dump trucks for sale for anyone wanting to start their own construction business.
Bidding will close at noon on Aug. 11. The items up for sale can be viewed here.
