Little Girl, 4, Found Wandering Parking Lot Reunited With Dad
Police were flagged down at an apartment complex by a resident who found a child wandering alone. She was later returned safe to her family.
PASADENA, TX — A 4-year-old girl who was found wandering a parking lot at 2:30 Wednesday morning was reunited with her father a few hours later, police said.
A Pasadena police officer was flagged down in the 3100 block of Pasadena Boulevard by a resident at the apartment complex who found the girl wandering alone in the parking lot.
The girl was able to tell police her name was “Maya” but wasn’t able to say where she lived or where her parents were.

Police said Maya did give them enough information to narrow the search but came up empty-handed after several hours of searching.

Pasadena Police posted the girl’s photo on several social media sites and got a hit at about 6 a.m., when her father showed up to claim her.
Officials are still not sure how the child got out of her home. Charges were not filed in this case, police said.
