Need A Gig? Kemah Seeks A Communications And Marketing Guru

KEMAH, TX — One of the Houston area's coastal neatest little communities has hung out its help wanted sign and is searching for a communications and marketing director.

Kemah, a small coastal community known for its boardwalk attractions and maritime community, is looking for the right person to bring more tourists to town and to become the face of the coastal community.

Some of the duties outlined by the city include:

• Public Safety communications
• Planning, organizing, directing and executing the activities of the Public Information Office.
• Marketing community events, public events and community meetings
• Manages City's social media presence
• Develops policies related to crisis and public communications
• Manages content development
• Interacts with local media on city's behalf
