Pasadena Animal Shelter Hosts Super Bowl Adoption Special

PASADENA, TX — Looking for a four-legged friend? The Pasadena Animal Shelter is having a Super Bowl Special Friday and Saturday, that lets you take home a new dog for their $53 dog adoption fee.

The Pasadena Animal Shelter, located at 5150 Burke Rd, has dogs of every size, and darned near every pedigree.

What some may not understand, when it comes to adopting a pet, is the dedication that comes with assuming ownership, that can last many years.

One such pet who is showcased this week is Pickles, a 4-year-old Lab with a sweet and friendly disposition.

According to those wonderful people at the Pasadena Animal Shelter, Pickles seemed more than a little perplexed about his predicament.

He seems so confused, like he doesn't understand what he did to end up at the shelter. It doesn't look like Pickles has had a very easy or pampered life so far, but he definitely deserves one. This guy is beautiful and sweet.

Enzo is also ready for adoption. Enzo has sad eyes. He’s a young, well-behaved hound - shepherd mix who would likely thrive in a family.

Then of course, there's Teddy. Teddy is flat out amazing. Manners, personality, he has it all!This darling Australian Cattle Dog - Collie mix is calm, affectionate, non-reactive to other dogs, appears house trained, and walks well on a leash.

He loves people and wants to be by your side. Teddy is around four years old and just as cute as a button in person.
