Pasadena Independent School District Calendar 2018-19: First Day

PASADENA, TX— The first day of school in the Pasadena Independent School District is August 20 — and whether you and the kids are looking forward to the new school year or are dreading the end of summer, you’ll want to mark the dates on your calendar ASAP. The Pasadena Independent School District has released its 2018-2019 calendars for public schools.

The calendars include important dates such as winter and spring vacations, religious holidays, federal holidays, early dismissals and parent-teacher conferences.

Here is the full list of dates to know for this school year:

• 8/20: First Day of School

September

• 9/3: No School (Labor Day)

October

• 10/8-10/9: No School (Staff Professional Development)

November

• 11/19-11/23: No School (Thanksgiving)

December

• 12/21: Early Release for Students
• 12/24-12/31: No School (Winter Break)

January

• 1/1-1/4: No School (New Year's Day)
• 1/7-1/8: No School (Staff Workday/Professional Development)
• 1/21: No School (Martin Luther King Jr.Day)

February

• 2/18: No School (Presidents' Day)
• 2/19: No School

March

• 3/11-3/15: No School (Spring Break)

April

• 4/19: No School (Good Friday)
• 4/22: No School

May

• 5/27: No School (Memorial Day)
• 5/29: Last Day for Students, Early Release, Graduation
• 5/30: Staff Professional Development Day, Graduation
