Pasadena Mom Seriously Wounded In Drive-By Shooting: Police

A Pasadena woman was shot in the head when someone fired 12 rounds at her home Wednesday morning, police said.

PASADENA, TX — A Pasadena woman was seriously wounded Wednesday morning after someone shot up her home as she and her family slept, police said. The shooting happened at about 2 a.m. on Cactus Street near Scarborough.

Investigators said the woman was asleep in her home with her 4-month-old child and a man when someone fired about 12 shots at the house. Police said the woman was shot once in the head and taken by Life Flight to Memorial Hermann Hospital in critical condition.

The man and the child were not injured, police said. The couple’s three other children were staying with other family members at the time of the shooting.

Investigators are canvassing the neighborhood and looking for clues through surveillance video.
