PASADENA, TX - There is something for everyone in Pasadena this holiday season. The Pasadena Patch celebrates the spirit of giving with a selection of Christmas and other December festivities that are sure to keep readers warm with Christmas cheer.
- Christmas Tree Lighting: Pasadena's annual Christmas tree lighting takes place Dec. 1 at 6 p.m. A free event, the ceremony will be held at city hall with an appearance from Mr. and Mrs. Claus. Vendors, entertainment, outdoor activities and other decorated trees will also be on site.
- Holiday Gala: Formerly known as the Pasadena Christmas Dinner and Dance, the city's holiday gala kicks off Dec. 9 at 6:15 p.m. and ends at 8:30 p.m. Admission is $10 plus a canned food item. Set in the Pasadena Convention Center at 7902 Fairmont Parkway, the evening will feature dinner, dancing, music and family fun.

- Annual Toys for Tots Run: Happening Dec. 10, the 23rd, annual Toys for Tots Run takes off at the Pasadena Municipal Fairgrounds. Cost of attendance is a new, unwrapped toy or $10. Bikes will meet at Walter Hall Park in League City, with stands up at 10:30 a.m., and the ride will end at Campbell Hall, located at 8103 Red Bluff Rd. Activities at the Pasadena Fairgrounds will include a color guard, motorcycle show, bike field events, chili cook-off, live music and a kid's zone.
- Holiday Lighted Parade: Fairmont Parkway will be transformed into a winter wonderland on Dec. 3 at 7 p.m. Beginning at Fairmont and Pansy, the parade will travel along Fairmont to Watters before making a u-turn to circle back to the starting point. Parade entries are being accepted as of Nov. 30, and there is no cost to participate.

- Christmas Party for Senior Citizens: A senior citizen Christmas party will be held at the Pasadena Convention Center on Dec. 15.
