South Houston Bingo Hall Raided

SOUTH HOUSTON, TX — The Harris County Sheriff's Office raided a bingo hall in the city of South Houston. The raid was the culmination of nearly a year of investigative work and was part of a sweep of an alleged gambling and organized crime ring.

Deputies arrested 12 people on charges of engaging in organized crime. Investigators seized the building that houses Paradise Bingo Hall on College, along with various types of guns, cash and ammunition.
