Stores Open Early For Black Friday Shopping
Retailers will open on Thanksgiving Day to kick off the Christmas shopping season

HOUSTON — The turkey and dressing are still not quiet digested, and if you're looking to burn a few calories, retailers are hoping you'll come out and start your Christmas shopping.
Retailers are gearing up for Black Friday and the Christmas shopping season with many poised to open their doors late on Thanksgiving Day.
Stores who are hoping to reap the benefits of one of the strongest economies in years will kick off the Christmas shopping season while many are still snoozing after a day of eating Thanksgiving turkey.

Retailers who will open late on Thanksgiving Day include:

- Macy’s …………………………...5 p.m.
- Sears……………………………...6 p.m.
- Old Navy………………………….4 p.m.
- Beall’s……………………………..5 p.m.
Several retailers will open early Thursday morning, a day ahead of traditional Black Friday shopping. The stores that plan to open before noon on Thursday include Walgreen’s, Cabela’s, Bass Pro Shops, Big Lots, and Dollar General.
