Stranger Danger in Pasadena ISD

Pasadena ISD warned parents about a man offering students money and rides.

PASADENA, TX — Administrators with three schools in Pasadena ISD recently put out a call to district parents warning them about a 'stranger danger' incident.

Students from Pasadena High School, Bobby Shaw Middle School and Southmore Intermediate claim they were approached by a bearded male in a red cap and a red and gold Rockets T-shirt. The students allege that the man offered them rides in a gray or beige van or SUV and money.

Officers from the Pasadena ISD and city of Pasadena police departments have increased patrols around school campuses. Parents are asked to remind children not to talk to strangers and to walk to and from school in groups.
