Traffic Headaches Loom This Weekend
Segments of I-45 will see road crews working, which means you should find another route.
PASADENA, TX — Last weekend, the traffic headache was in Interstate 10 in Channelview, but this weekend, motorist Interstate 45 will be a a mess in some areas.
Motorists who planned to use Interstate 10 near Beltway 8 last weekend encountered delays with closures near Sheldon Road.
This weekend the Texas Department of Transportation will shut down northbound sections from Dickinson to Scarsdale at 9 p.m. on May 5.

The same goes for the southbound lanes of I-45 south of League City.
Those lanes all reopen at 5 a.m. on Monday May 8, so plan accordingly.
