Woman Finds Human Bones While Walking Her Dog In Moncrief Park
Investigators said the bones were found in the grass and appeared to be weathered, and may have washed up from a nearby lake.
CHANNELVIEW, TX — A woman who was walking her dog in Moncrief Park on Sunday discovered what appear to be human bones, police said. The discovery was made at about noon near a small nearby lake.
Investigators said the bones were found in the grass and appeared to be weathered. Police said the bones were possibly washed from the lake during last weeks heavy rainfall.
A citizen at Moncrief Park, 16800 Bear Bayou in Channelview notified one of our @HCSOTexas Park units of a possible human bone found while she walked in the park. The remains were taken to the Harris County Institute of Forensic Science to determine the identity of the person.
