Another Sewer Overflow Reported In Plano
The sewage flowed 80 feet into White Rock Creed, city officials say.

PLANO, TX — A second sewage overflow occurred Thursday morning in the same area where an overflow of more than 1 million gallons occurred last week.
Starting around 7:13 a.m. Thursday and lasting until after midnight Friday, an estimated 363,150 gallons of sewerage flowed out of a manhole at 5510 W. Plano Parkway and into White Rock Creek.
According to a statement from city officials, workers walked the creek and have confirmed that the overflow did not affect river life.

The public drinking water is not affected and continues to be safe for consumption, the city said.
City workers will be performing clean-up of the affected area Friday morning.

Officials estimate total overflow has exceeded 2.2 million gallons of sewerage.
