Do You Have What It Takes To Give a Ted Talk In Plano?

PLANO, TX — Storytelling has made a huge resurgence in recent years. Between programs like TEDx and The Moth, everyday people now have the chance to share their funny, sad, informative or life-changing stories with the world.

For residents of Plano, this is no exception. TEDxPlano is looking for speakers to present at the organization's 2018 series. People interested in speaking on stage in 2018 have until Nov. 30 to nominate oneself or another person. The TEDxPlano speaking schedule will be finalized in December.

TEDXPlano organizers look for artists, entrepreneurs, technologists, engineers, non-profit workers and others to speak on their stage.

The theme of TEDxPlano in 2018 is "+," or "plus." According to TEDxPlano's website, Plus ( + ), when used as a preposition, means "with the addition of." When used as an adjective: "rather, better than." A noun: "an advantage." A conjunction: "furthermore."

Clearly the focus of TEDxPlano 2018: + is all about adding on and moving forward. Nominate yourself or a friend if you have an important story to tell TEDxPlano listeners.
