Gas Leak Closes Roadway Near Downtown Plano
Drivers are encouraged to avoid this area while Atmos crews work to repair the gas line.
PLANO, TX — Police encourage drivers to avoid a roadway near downtown Plano Monday afternoon.
The roadway, 14th Street between I Avenue and Municipal Drive is closed in both directions. Police said the closure stems from a gas line damaged by a vehicle at 2:35 p.m.
Atmos crews are working to repair the gas line, which could take some time. It's unclear when the roadway will reopen.
