Why she is special: My 85-year-old mother raised five kids sometimes far from family when my father was serving overseas in the U.S. Air Force. She is strong and smart (a former nurse) and very compassionate. Everyone who meets her tells me what a joy she is and I couldn't agree more!

Message: Happy Mother's Day Mom! Thank you for the love, boundaries, and and support that have shaped me into the woman I am today. I love you!
