How To Get Two Free Energy Efficient LED Bulbs In Plano
LED bulbs use 80 percent less energy than traditional bulbs.

Plano residents can swap out the two most used light bulbs in their home for two energy efficient LED bulbs as part of the Swap and Save pledge. Residents can save up to $300 on their electricity bills over the life of the bulbs.
"LED bulbs use 80% less energy than traditional bulbs," the City of Plano said in a news release. "Live Green In Plano, the city’s program aimed at making Plano a healthier place to live, is giving away 4,000 energy efficient LED lightbulbs."
Residents can take the pledge online or at Live Green in Plano events. They can visit www.plano.gov/swapandsave where they can print or save a screenshot of their pledge confirmation and visit one of two locations to receive 2 free LED bulbs (while supplies last, two bulb limit per household):
