More Than 77,000 Pounds Of Peanut Butter Donated
The peanut butter will help feed children in need in Collin County.

PLANO, TX -- The North Texas Food Bank (NTFB) has collected 77,810 pounds worth of peanut butter as part of the fifth annual Spreading Hope Peanut Butter Drive. The peanut butter will help feed the 44,000 food insecure children in Collin County, NTFB wrote on its website.
“By donating a jar of peanut butter, you’re helping someone in your community, people that you might even know and that you just don’t realize are in that situation," Mayor Harry LaRosiliere said, according to the NTFB.
