Plano Ranked As America's Happiest City In 2019
The only other Texas cities to rank in the top 20 were Grand Prairie and Austin.

Plano was ranked the happiest city in America in 2019 according to a new report from personal-finance website WalletHub. In order to determine its ranking, WalletHub compared more than 180 of the largest U.S. cities across 31 indicators of happiness, including depression rate, income-growth rate, and average leisure time spent per day, the organization said in a news release.
The ranking was determined using data from the U.S. Census Bureau, Bureau of Labor Statistics, Institute for Health Metrics and Evaluation, and Glassdoor.com, among other sources.
Plano was ranked first on WalletHub's list, followed by Irvine, California, and Madison, Wisconsin.
