Plano Week Ahead Weather: Rain, Storms Threaten

PLANO, TX — We can expect chance of showers and thunderstorms throughout much of the week in the area, according to a forecast from the National Weather Service. In the Plano area, there's at least a 30 percent chance of showers throughout the week.

The hazardous weather alert reminds citizens of potential isolated to scattered thunderstorms. While the weather isn't expected to be severe, some heavy rainfall may cause minor flooding in prone areas. Lightning will strike, as well.
