A group of four men allegedly used a dating website for gay men to arrange meetings with victims in the victims' homes.

PLANO, TX — A Texas man who was part of a group of men that used a dating website to attack gay men has been sentenced to a decade in federal prison. Chancler Encalade was sentenced on Tuesday for hate-crime assaults on gay men.
Encalade and Nigel Garrett have said a group of four men used the website for gay men to arrange meetings with victims in the victims' homes. They then blinded the victims with tape, assaulted and abused them for being gay, and stole items from their homes.
Previously, Nigel Garrett was sentenced to 15 years in prison for his part in the crimes. Cameron Ajiduah had pleaded guilty but withdrew it and chose not to accept his plea deal. He and co-defendant Anthony Shelton are set for an April 13 trial in federal court in Plano, Texas.
