Annual Child Find Meeting To Be Held Virtually In Round Rock

Round Rock ISD hosts the virtual meeting to lend insight on disabilities and the evaluation process for receiving special education.

ROUND ROCK, TX—The Round Rock Independent School District and its Special Education Department invites the community to their annual Child Find Meeting to provide information on the program. The virtual meeting will end insight and offer details regarding disabilities and the evaluation process for local preschools, daycare providers, private schools, and families.

The virtual meeting will be held Thursday, May 6 at 11:45 a.m., and recording of the webinar will be available on the Round Rock ISD Child Find website following the meeting. Child Find is a valuable resource and the process used by school districts and charter schools to identify and locate children needing evaluation for special education and related services. All children aged from birth to 21 years old with disabilities or suspected of having a disability, regardless of the severity of their disabilities, and who need services, must be identified, located, and evaluated.
