Arrest Made In Fatal Round Rock Shooting
Gage Johnston, 28, was arrested in the shooting death of Jerrionn Burleson, 28, on Jan 9, the Round Rock Police Department said Tuesday.

ROUND ROCK, TX — An arrest was made on Tuesday stemming from a fatal shooting that occurred earlier this month, police said.
The Round Rock Police Department said Gage Johnston, 28, was arrested in the shooting death of Jerrionn Burleson, 28, on Jan 9. The incident occurred along the 1600 block of Peachtree Valley Drive across from Somerset Park, according to a police advisory.
Johnston was arrested on a charge of capital murder with a bond set at $1 million, according to Williamson County Jail records. Police noted the two men, both residents of Austin, knew each other prior to the violent incident.

Police previously said officers were dispatched to the area early in the early morning on Jan. 9 amid reports of gunshots at Peachtree Valley Drive, where they found Burleson already dead at the scene.
