Aspiring Engineers Invited To Round Rock Tech Toy Event
Tech Toy Petting Zoo is a FREE Tween maker Club designed for kids ages 8-12 to explore their tech skills.
ROUND ROCK, TX — Calling all young engineers: The Tech Toy Petting Zoo is scheduled this week.
The event is set to take place on Thursday, Sept. 19, from 4:30 p.m. to 5:30 PM at the Round Rock Public Library, 221 E. Main St. This FREE Tween Maker Club event is designed for ages 8-12 and is an opportunity for kids to experiment with technology within a come-and-go setting, organizers said.
Aspiring engineers will program a Dash & Dot robot and a Sphero SPRK + robot, as well as learn to code Ozobots and LEGO robotics. Kids will customize a Cubelet robot or explore electronics with Little Bits and Squishy Circuits.
