Dell Diamond In Round Rock Is New Mass Vaccination Hub

ROUND ROCK, TX — Round Rock Express' Dell Diamond will administer more than 2,000 coronavirus vaccines per day as a mass vaccination hub for Williamson County, according to the Austin-American Statesman.

The newspaper reports the site at 3400 E Palm Valley Blvd. in Round Rock will be open from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Friday through Sunday and then will transition to being open on weekdays from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

The minor league baseball team said Wednesday the northwest parking lot at Dell Diamond will serve as the registration area with vaccines being administered in the east parking lot.

The new site is partnership between the Round Rock Express, Williamson County and Curative, a COVID-19 testing and public health services startup, the American-Statesman reports.

The mass vaccination hub will be available for residents who are eligible in the Phase 1A and 1B categories and who have pre-registered with the county and signed up for appointments, according to Williamson County's website.

Those who qualify can register for the waitlist by visiting forms.wilco.org/Forms/CV19VaccineWaitListRegistration. An e-mail will be sent with information regarding scheduling an appointment to receive the COVID-19 vaccine.
