Funeral Services Set For Actress Found Dead In Round Rock Home

Margaret Ann Garza, 31, died earlier this week after she stopped breathing, but she passed away before medics arrived.

ROUND ROCK, TX — Funeral services are scheduled this week for a television actress and former beauty queen who was found dead in her Round Rock home.

Police were called early Tuesday morning to the 1800 block of Mathes Mill Trail in response to a woman not breathing, a Round Rock Police spokeswoman said. Despite the arrival of medics to the scene, Margaret Ann Garza, 31, was unresponsive and pronounced dead.

Garza was crowned Miss Texas Belleza Latina in 2007 and Miss Belleza Latina International the following year, according to information found on the pageant's website. Belleza is the Spanish word for beauty. The pageant was created to promote positive Latina role models, according to the website.
