• Messy Me Playgroup - Valentine's Day: Mess Maker Studios will host a Valentine's Day play session on Wednesday, Feb. 14. Celebrate with your little one(s) with heart-themed activities -- secret love potions, chocolate play dough, and heart art, all baby-safe. This fun-filled event is ideal for ages 6 months to 5 years. • Sprouts at the Lady Bird Johnson Wildflower Center: Bring your little sweetheart(s) this Valentine's Day to Sprouts Preschool Play on Wednesday, Feb. 14 from 10 AM - 11 AM. Ideal for ages 3-5, kiddos will enjoy expeditions of discovery lead by a Nature Play Guide. Program includes a sensory activity, story, nature walk, and nature play. Dress for the weather and bring a water bottle. Registration not required, and program is FREE with regular garden admission. Admission free for members. • Valentine Playtime (18 months and older): The Round Rock Public Library will host a special Valentine Playtime on Wednesday, Feb. 14 from 10 AM - 11 AM. This event is an early literacy playtime featuring Valentine-themed activities highlighting theLove Monster books by Rachel Bright. There will be reading, writing, singing, talking, and play together at come-and-go stations. Ideal for ages 18 months and older.If your child would like to participate in a valentine exchange, please provide 20 valentines and/or individually sharable gifts for your child to distribute to other children. This is a great opportunity for children to write, stamp, add stickers, or add some other kind of developmentally appropriate message to their valentines before coming to our playtime. • Valentine's Day Musical Storytime with Ms. Staci at BookPeople: This Valentine's Day, BookPeople will host a special Valentine's Day musical story time with Ms. Staci on Wednesday, Feb. 14 beginning at 10:30 AM. • Kid's Eat Free This Valentine's Day: McAlister's Deli - Austin will feature a Kids Eat Free Valentine's Day event on Wednesday, Feb. 14 from 10:30 AM - 9 PM. • Valentine's Spin-Art Workshop: Mess Maker Studios will host a Spin-Art Workshop on Wednesday, Feb. 14 beginning at 3:15 PM. Come to this after school event to make spin-art heart and have fun mixing colors and spinning to create beautiful designs. There will also be sensory stations for playing, a chocolate shop with chocolate play dough and color gems to decorate with will be available. There will be a play flower shop perfect for kids imaginations as they pretend to be florists and customers. Kiddos will also be able to experiment adding ingredients to a bubbly Valentine's potion. • Tween Maker Club - Library Cupcake Wars (ages 8-12): The Round Rock Public Library will host its Tween Maker Club featuring Library Cupcake Wars on Wednesday, Feb. 14 from 4:30 PM - 5:30 PM. This event is for kids ages 8-12. Preregister for this fun competition where tweens are challenged to decorate cupcakes with a literary theme. Prize giveaway to the best book themed cupcake. • Community Night at the Thinkery (admission by donation): The Thinkery Austin will host Community Night on Wednesday, Feb. 14 from 4 PM - 8 PM. • Valentine's Day Health Fair: The City of Austin's Parks and Recreation will host a Valentine's Day Health Fair on Wednesday, Feb. 14 from 6 PM - 8 PM.
