Out Of The Darkness Walk Advances Suicide Prevention Awareness
Out of the Darkness Central Texas/Round Rock ISD Campus Walk seeks to advance awareness and fundraise for suicide prevention in communities.
ROUND ROCK, TX—Round Rock friends and neighbors are invited to take part in the Out of the Darkness Central Texas/Round Rock ISD Campus Walk in partnership with the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention. Due to COVID-19, participants and their teams are encouraged to take to walking throughout neighborhoods and parks across the community to advance awareness on suicide prevention, and raise funds to help with these efforts, fund scientific research, and provide resources and aid to those impacted by suicide.
The campus walk takes place Saturday, April 24 and is an opportunity to bring a message of hope and awareness to the communities we call home. There will be a drive-thru event where participants may pick up t-shirts and resources, participate in a memorial event, drop off donations, and purchase merchandise.
