Pop Up Play Day Offers Fun Activities For Kids In Round Rock

ROUND ROCK, TX — Enjoy free family activities, music and dance, and food at Pop Up Play Day in Round Rock on Saturday.
Round Rock Parks and Recreation will kick off the event at 5 p.m. Saturday at Mesa Village Park on Georgetown Street. Officials will even give out prizes to the first 70 people who attend the Round Rock event.
The free outdoor party will also give kids and residents a chance to meet local fire and police officials and park champions from the Round Rock People and Parks Fund, authorities said.

The People & Parks Fund is a nonprofit organization dedicated to partnering with our community to enhance people’s lives by making our public parks, trails and green spaces better through advocacy and financial support.
The nonprofit also aids in parks and trails preservation and promotes environmental stewardship, officials said.

Authorities said Pop Up Play Day provides an opportunity for children, families and adults in all neighborhoods the chance to visit their local park, participate in fun activities, learn healthy and active living skills, enjoy refreshments, and engage with their neighbors and public servants without the need for transportation or entry fees.
