Reading Adds Up Pairs Future Teachers With Round Rock Students

Kids ages 4-11 are invited to the virtual session of math and literacy hosted by Texas State University Round Rock campus Education program.

ROUND ROCK, TX—Round Rock kids ages 4-11 are invited to take part in a fun-filled hour of math and literacy with students from Texas State University Round Rock’s Teacher Education program. The future teachers will read a variety of children’s stories, and then explore math concepts related to the story with kids. Adult guests are welcome to ask questions and learn strategies.

The virtual program Reading Adds Up on Saturday, April 17 from 11 a.m. - 12 p.m. will run sessions continuously, so participants are able to join and leave at any time during the hour-long event. Preregistration is required for the virtual event and can be done so HERE.

Following the registration process, participants will receive a confirmation email with information about joining the meeting. Each child will require a separate registration to attend.
