Round Rock ISD Offers Free Coronavirus Testing To Students, Staff

ROUND ROCK, TX — Round Rock ISD will offer free testing for the coronavirus to staff and students starting Tuesday, officials said.

The free, rapid tesing is by appointment at the Raymond E. Hartfield Performing Arts Center, 5800 McNeil Dr. in Austin. Testing will be available on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. until further notice, school officials wrote in an advisory.

Families and staff are asked to to follow the entrance and exit map, and register in advance for a drive-through COVID-19 testing date using the Round Rock ISD COVID-19 Testing Form.

Students and staff must bring their Round Rock ISD school or employee ID badge to the testing site. Students over the age of 18 and staff can sign their own consent form, while students younger than 18 will need parental consent. To speed up the process, those seeking testing are asked to pre-register their test kit and save your individualized QR code to your phone to show staff at the testing site.
