Round Rock Parks & Rec Staging Fantasy Football Draft Experience
Organizers describe event 'unlike anything you've ever seen' in alerting to upcoming Sunday gathering at the Flix Brewhouse.
ROUND ROCK, TEXAS — Are you ready for some fantasy football draft party? If so, you might mark Sunday, Aug. 26, on your calendar for some fun, some lunch and maybe a beer or three with Parks & Recreation Department officials.
"This will be a Fantasy Football Draft experience that is unlike anything you’ve ever seen," officials write in an advisory alerting to the Parks & Rec Flix Brewhouse Fantasy Football Draft Party to be staged from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. at 2200 S Interstate 35 B1 at the Sky Ridge Plaza.
It's $30 to get in on the action, with unlimited fountain drinks and one lunch entrée included in the registration fee. Participants will compete for a league championship while enjoying what organizers describe as a "first-class draft day experience." This event is meant for those 16 and up (needless to say, no beer for you, young 'uns).
