Round Rock Pop Up Play Day Promotes Fun And Community Building

ROUND ROCK, TX—Get ready to enjoy summer with friends and neighbors as Round Rock Parks and Recreation Department presents “Pop Up Play Day” for a day of free family fun designed for all ages! Come out and enjoy family activities, music and dance, food and refreshments, and get active in your community while enjoying your neighborhood park! There will also be opportunities to meet your local Fire Department & Police Department team members!

The first 70 to arrive will also be eligible to receive free prizes! Scheduled Saturday, July 10 at Somerset Park located at 1814 Taron Cove, Round Rock, TX 78681, from 9 a.m. - 11 a.m. Pop Up Play Day is an opportunity for families, adults and children throughout area neighborhood to visit their local park and participate in fun and exciting activities. Kids learn important ways to stay healthy and the events promote lifelong active living skills.

Guests will also meet Park Champions from the Round Rock The People & Parks Fund, a non-profit organization dedicated to partnering with our community to enhance people’s lives by making our public parks, trails and green spaces better through advocacy and financial support. The People & Parks Fund also aids in parks and trails preservation and promotes environmental stewardship.
