Special Needs Families Enjoy A Hollywood-Themed Day Of Fun

ROUND ROCK, TX —Casey's Circle and Round Rock Parks & Rec – AIR invites special needs children and their families to attend the 2019 Special Needs Family Jamboree to enjoy a day with full access to all the park's activities on Saturday, Sept. 28 from 9 a.m. - 12 p.m. at Play for All Abilities Park located at 151 North A.W. Grimes Blvd, Round Rock, TX 78665.

PLEASE NOTE: This event is for children with special needs and their families. This event is NOT open to the general public.

This year's Jamboree theme is HOLLYWOOD! and booths throughout the park will incorporate the theme into the decor and activities. All attending are encouraged to dress up as a favorite Hollywood character in the spirit of the event.

The park will be closed to the public, and stations throughout will include plenty of games, crafts, prizes and more! Each station is sponsored by a local non-profits or service provider for the special needs community. Visitors will also learn more about the local programs, providers, and services available throughout the area.

Demos for various programs offered to local kids with special needs will also be part of the day's event. Children may participate in mini-sessions taking place at the Rabb House, and kids will be able to try out programs they enjoy and may consider continuing.
