Stretch Of Interstate 35 To Close In Round Rock

ROUND ROCK, TX — Interstate 35 just south of University Boulevard will close briefly on Sunday to accommodate work crews, officials said.

Round Rock officials said the work will require morning closure on I-35 on Sunday, Sept. 8 from 6 a.m. to 6:30 a.m. The closure will enable crews to lay fiber optic cable, city officials said in the municipal website.

"Drivers are encouraged to seek alternate routes during the short duration of the closure," officials added.
