Upcoming Round Rock Events Aim To Keep Your Children Safe
Car seat safety checks June 14 and June 21, Safe Baby Academy on Saturday, June 16 are for parents to learn how to keep their babies safe.

ROUND ROCK, TX — There are some important events coming up in Round Rock designed to safeguard children's safety, county officials announced on Monday.
Car Seat Safety Checks June 14 and June 21
Car crashes are the leading cause of injury and death to children age 1 to 13. Williamson County EMS and Austin/Travis County EMS are partnering together to hold Car Seat Check events this month. On Thursday, June 14, an event will be staged in partnership with St. David’s Round Rock Medical Center from 9 a.m. to noon at 1781 E. Old Settlers Blvd. in Round Rock.

The same presentation is repeated on Thursday, June 21, but in Taylor, Texas, in partnership with Taylor ISD Family Services from 9 to 11 a.m. at Our Lady of Guadalupe, 111 West Rio Grande. Taylor is 17.3 miles east of Round Rock via West 2nd Street and U.S. 79.

WilCo EMS to Host Safe Baby Academy June 16
WilCo EMS in conjunction with Austin-Travis County EMS will be offering a Safe Baby Academy on Saturday, June 16, from 9 a.m. to noon, at Seton Medical Center, 201 Seton Parkway, Round Rock. Call (512) 972-7233 or click here to reserve a spot in this popular session which helps parents learn about car seat safety, infant CPR, home and water safety, and safe sleeping practices to employ.
