ROUND ROCK, TX — City contractors will be closing one lane of westbound traffic on Old Settlers Boulevard at A.W. Grimes for the construction of a deceleration lane in work that won't be wrapped up until November.

Construction work is expected to begin at 5 p.m. on Monday, July 29, and conclude in late November, officials alerted on the municipal website. During that time, a single lane of westbound traffic will remain open, officials added.

Drivers are reminded to be aware of workers in the work area, reduce their speed and increase the spacing distance between their vehicles.
