WilCo Offices To Close July 5 For Independence Day
Williamson County offices will be closed Monday in observance of Independence Day.
WILLIAMSON COUNTY, TX — Williamson County offices will be closed Monday in observance of Independence Day, authorities said Thursday.
County officials said the offices will resume regular hours on Tuesday.
The County Commissioners Court also will not meet on Tuesday for the holiday and will resume their regular schedule at 9:30 a.m. Tuesday, July 13 in the Commissioners Courtroom on the second floor of the historic courthouse in Georgetown.

During Fourth of July weekend, the county said its regional animal shelter will have a special adoption for families looking for a new furry family member through Monday.
Families can adopt a medium/large adult dog for $4 if they make an appointment for priority service by sending an email to adoption@wilco.org.

You can see all adoptable pets by visiting wilcopets.org. WCRAS is open from noon to 6 p.m. daily, including July 4, at 1855 S.E. Inner Loop, in Georgetown.
