WilCo Offices Closed Ahead Of Icy Road Conditions
A rare, robust snowfall that descended across Central Texas on Sunday was expected to yield icy roadways amid freezing temps on Monday.
WILLIAMSON COUNTY, TX — Williamson County offices will be closed to the public on Monday given the possibility of icy road conditions, officials said late Sunday.
Officials urged residents not to drive on the icy roadways unless necessary. Williamson County road and bridge crews were expected to work throughout the night on Sunday de-icing bridges and sand roadways, according to a county advisory.
"If you must drive, please use caution, reduce speed, and watch for icy patches," officials wrote.
