Williamson County Home Values Increase By Nearly 10 Percent From Last Year
County appraiser says the average home value is $253,819 compared to $241,860 last year.

ROUND ROCK, TX -- This is what you call a seller's market: The average market value of a home in Williamson County has increased by 9.5 percent, according to a published report.
The county's chief appraiser Alvin Lankford told the Round Rock Leader newspaper that several factors played into the jump in values, including developers trying to keep pace with brisk growth.
The average market value of a home increased this year to $253,819 compared to $241,860 last year, the newspaper reported, citing Williamson Central Appraisal District data. Still, the increase was lower than the 12.7 percent jump seen in 2015 from the prior year.

“Supply has met the demand more this year than it has the past couple years,” Lankford said, “but it’s still a seller’s market since the demand has yet to meet the supply.”
