Willie Nelson Announces Three Concerts in Austin for New Year's

Willie Nelson is coming home to ring in the New Year.

The Austin legend just added three dates to his current tour. He will be playing at Austin City Limits Live at the Moody Theater for three shows -- Dec. 29, 30 and 31. The first two shows are at 7:30 p.m. The New Year’s Eve show starts at 9 p.m.

Joining him on stage will be rising country star Kacey Musgraves and Willie’s son, Lukas Nelson, and his band, Promise of the Real.

Nelson is currently on tour throughout the rest of the year. His next show is in Florence, S.C., on Oct. 15 where he will perform with country legend Merle Haggard. The two perform together again the next night in Roanoke, Va., and then Reading, Pa.

Nelson also has several concerts scheduled across Texas starting in November.

The Moody Theater, for those of you who don’t know, is located at 310 W. Willie Nelson Blvd. in downtown Austin.
