Fight At Ingram Park Mall: 'Not An Active Shooter,' Police Say
After a fight at Ingram Park Mall in San Antonio broke out Sunday, police said there was no threat to the public.
SAN ANTONIO, TX — There was not an active shooter at Ingram Park Mall Sunday afternoon, according to the San Antonio Police Department. The mall was briefly placed on lockdown as officers investigated a fight that was reported inside, police said.
Nobody was injured in the incident, authorities reported.
"There is NOT an active shooter at Ingram Park Mall," the San Antonio Police Department said in a statement.

"The mall was locked down temporarily but is now open," San Antonio police reported after 3:30 p.m. on Sunday, Sept. 1.
Police said nobody was injured, and there were no threats to the public.

The mall in San Antonio is more than 300 miles southeast from the Odessa area, where a gunman opened fire Saturday afternoon in west Texas.
