A pregnant woman was shot and killed by the father of her unborn child on Christmas Day in San Antonio, according to multiple news reports.
SAN ANTONIO, TX — A pregnant woman was shot and killed by the father of her unborn child on Christmas Day in San Antonio, according to multiple news reports.
The shooting occurred just past 3 p.m. inside a home on Candle Park; the woman's two other children, 2 and 6 years old, were inside the home at the time, according to News 4 San Antonio. They do not appear to be harmed. However, the woman, 24, did not survive the shooting, nor did her unborn child, according to their report.
The woman was shot by the 27-year-old father of her children, reported KENS 5, and the shooter is in the hospital in "extremely bad condition" after shooting himself.

SAPD says this was a child exchange and baby’s father had criminal history, but not violent. “This is a day to be celebrating Christ, not killing each other” Shooter is said to be in bad condition at University Hospital.
