Republican, Democratic U.S. House 23 Texas Primary Results
A handful of candidates were on each party's ballot for the primary, aiming to compete in November for Will Hurd's seat.

Nine Republican candidates and five Democratic candidates were on their respective party ballots in a bid to be on the November ballot for the U.S. House race in Texas' 23rd congressional district, the seat being vacated by Republican incumbent Will Hurd who has represented the border district since 2015.
Hurd, 42, a former CIA officer, announced in August that he would not seek reelection. The Texas Republican was an outlier in his party for opposing President Donald Trump's immigration policies, including his push to build a wall along the southern U.S. border.
