San Antonio has been ranked among the top “destination cities” in the U.S., according to U-Haul’s latest report on migration trends. The city was ranked fourth behind Las Vegas and ahead of Orlando.

The No.1 “destination city” in the United States is Houston, according to the report. The company said that for the 10th year in a row, Houston had the highest number of one-way U-Haul trucks arriving in the city in 2018. Year over year, the city had a 3 percent increase in one-way U-Haul truck arrivals.

Chicago, Las Vegas, San Antonio and Orlando rounded out the top five on U-Haul’s list.

U-Haul released its rankings just before Memorial Day. According to the company, about 45 percent of moves take place between the Memorial Day and Labor Day weekends.

U-Haul bases its rankings on the total number of arriving one-way trucks into a city in the past calendar year. However, the company cautions that its rankings don’t account for departing U-Haul trucks and do not necessarily reflect growth.
