Spurs Greats To Help Open New 'Living Spaces' Furniture Store

SAN ANTONIO, TEXAS — Officials of Caliornia-based Living Spaces have scheduled a grand opening of their newest location Tuesday afternoon in San Antonio, complete with Spurs legends.

The opening of the chain's first San Antonio store will feature sneak preview events on Nov. 27 and Nov. 29, officials said in a press advisory. The new, 140,000-square-foot store is located at 4239 N Loop 1604 West.

The schedule of events is as follows:

Living Spaces Fan Fest: Tuesday, Nov. 27, 5 p.m. to 9 p.m.

Meet Football Hall of Famer Emmitt Smith and basketball legends Robert Horry, Bruce Bowen
and George Gervin as you take a sneak peek into the Living Spaces San Antonio showroom.

VIP Preview Event: Thursday, Nov. 29, 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. (with official ribbon-cutting
ceremony at 4:30 p.m.)

Preview the Living Spaces San Antonio showroom and enjoy live music by the Nate Williams
Band and complimentary food and drinks from The Capital Grille.

Grand Opening: Friday, Nov. 30, 10 a.m. to 9 p.m.

Doors will open to the public for first chances to shop with limited-time deals on designs for
every room. All events are free.

The expansive store will offer a wide selection of values and styles in over 150 living rooms, 90 dining rooms and 80 bedrooms, officials said. Featured collections will include Magnolia Home by Joanna Gaines and Nate + Jeremiah for Living Spaces. The new store will also feature technologies like the mobile-friendly QR codes, which will allow shoppers to scan any product with their mobile devices to see details, reviews and more.

"With the San Antonio Grand Opening, Living Spaces is able to expand their vision of providing

In May, Living Spaces opened a 500,000-square-foot store in Pflugerville to considerable fanfare in a series of music-filled events. During the opening, company officials illustrated their commitment to being a good corporate citizen in their new locale by presenting a $50,000 check to the Dell Children's Trust. Attendees were given the chance to buy raffle tickets as a benefit to the hospital as well. The furniture company broke ground on its Pflugerville distribution center and showroom in July 2017.
