Texas Crash Leaves 4 Immigrants Dead; 12 Ejected: Reports

BIG WELLS, TX — Four immigrants were reportedly killed when an SUV reportedly being chased by Border Patrol vehicles flipped in southern Texas. The Dimmit County Sheriff's Office told KABB-TV that authorities are investigating following the crash off Highway 85 in Big Wells.

The wreck happened off Highway 85 in Big Wells, authorities told the station. Fourteen people were inside the vehicle at the time and a dozen were thrown.

Video posted on Facebook showed at least four bodies lying on the ground, CNN reported. Several Border Patrol vehicles were also at the scene.

12 immigrants were ejected and 4 died at the scene when the car crashed and rolled over, according to Dimmit County Sheriff Marion Boyd. 5 people were transported to San Antonio Military Medical Center.#Immigration https://t.co/suQOfMDzoM
