Stranger Gives Slacks Off His Legs So Jeans-Wearing Grad Can Walk Across Stage

Leroy Solis Jr. was initially denied participating in graduation ceremony because he wore jeans, and that's when stranger loaned his pants.

SAN ANTONIO, TX — There are good people in the world who would give the shirt off their back to help a stranger. Rarer still are those individuals who would give their pants.

Yet that's what actually occurred at a recent high school graduation ceremony in San Antonio, Texas, where student was initially denied the privilege of walking across the stage to secure his diploma because he wore prohibited jeans. Leroy Solis Jr. had to think fast, turning to a complete stranger in the audience asking if he would exchange pants.

The ploy worked with only three minutes to spare to get in formation for the ceremony. Without hesitation, the stranger with roughly the same build as the grad gave the MacArthur High School graduate the slacks off his legs with instructions to change garments in the pants giver's dad's truck.

“My brother walked back to his car and came across a young man his height and size (and) my brother proceeded to explain that he needed slacks to walk the stage,” the senior's sister, Rosemary De Los Santos said in a Facebook post. “The young man and his dad said ‘Get in our truck and switch out pants,’ (and) then they told him ‘go cross the stage.’"

With the pomp and circumstance surrounding a high school graduation, the grad's family wasn't able to locate the young man who graciously gave up his pants. Now, they're looking for the altruistic pants patron via Facebook with seemingly an entire city staying updated on the search given the numerous views the video has gotten.
