Police ID Woman Killed After Striking Tree In South Austin
Cheyanne Sage Serrano, 26, was traveling along 1000 block of South MoPac Expressway (Loop 1) on Sunday when she lost control of car.
AUSTIN, TX — Police on Tuesday identified the woman who died after hitting a tree over the weekend.
Police responded to the 1000 block of South MoPac Expressway (Loop 1) on Sunday, May 12, just before 10 a.m. A preliminary investigation shows that a 1999 tan Toyota Camry was traveling northbound on MoPac before the driver inexplicably lost control of the vehicle and slid into a tree in a grassy area between MoPac and the frontage road.
The woman in the car, idenfitied as Cheyanne Sage Serrano, 26, was pronounced dead at the scene.
