Woman Dies In South Austin Wreck On MoPac
Medics responded to 1000 block of South MoPac Expressway (Loop 1) where a woman crashed into a fixed object and died.
SOUTH AUSTIN, TX —A woman died in a wreck on MoPac Boulevard (Loop 1) near Barton Skyway in South Austin early Sunday, medics said.
Austin-Travis County EMS medics responded to the northbound lanes along the 1000 block of South MoPac just before 10:30 a.m. where a woman crashed her car into a fixed object. The woman was pronounced dead at the scene, and no other injuries were reported.
The car reportedly was found in a wooded area at the crash site, obscuring the wreck from view. As a result, it's unclear when the accident occurred.
